A relative newcomer in resume services, Resume2Hire.com will write any and all resumes for one low price. So... is
the end result a bargain? Or garbage?
First, let's be clear: you're not going to get a document that can compete against a $500
resume from the likes of Great Resumes Fast. But sometimes, you don't need to compete against the
big boys. In many occupations, your toughest competition will come from resumes written by job
seekers themselves. In those cases, this company --and $99 bucks -- will likely give you an
advantage.

The Process:

Upload your existing resume if you have one. If you don't, you'll be asked to fill out an online
questionnare (they call it a "work experience form"). On it, you'll provide details regarding your
past employment history, education, skills, training, achievements and any honors or awards you've
received.

Once the form is completed, you'll be forwarded to a payment page where you make a secure
payment via paypal, credit card, debit card or e-check. After the payment is processed, a
professional writer will be assigned to your account.

Your writer will review your information and write your resume. You'll receive a first
draft via email within 72 business hours after placing your order. |

Review the draft, and let your writer know if there are any necessary corrections or
revisions.

The resume is a Word document (so you can handle future updating yourself).

resume writing, staffing and recruitment. They state that their writing team has written over
10,000 resumes since 2008. |

Samples on the company website look better than I would have expected at this
price point. The samples are fuzzy and hard to read, I suspect to help thwart copy-cats, but you
can tell that the design and layout is OK and writing seems crisp. |

Cautionary Note: They had been given an "B" rating with the Better Business
Bureau (currently "no rating" while the BBB evaluates further). The number of complaints filed with
the BBB "for a business of this size" was comparatively heavy (27 complaints in the past 3
years, 15 closed in the past 12 months). And the length of time the company has taken to

Resume2Hire - Review Summary:
Those who have read our reviews know we're advocates of resume writers conducting consultative
interviews with their clients prior to crafting the resume. An interview is the best way to gather
the nuanced information that will -- in the hands of a pro writer -- deliver a resume that propels
the candidate above the competition. But time is money, and resume writers who conduct those
interviews must charge $250 to $500 or more to make a living and keep providing that level of
service. This would include the resume writers at ResumeWriters.com and GreatResumesFast.com (each with a BBB score of A+).
That said, not everyone can afford such services, nor does everyone need such services. For job
seekers on a limited budget, Resume2Hire appears to be decent alternative. Not perfect, but decent.
As we said before, don't think you're going to spend 99 bucks here and get the equivalent of a
$300 resume from a writer who just spent an hour and a half on the phone with you. You won't. But
dollar for dollar, this isn't a bad deal...
